This is a lightly scented product that does not make my hair (4c mostly but long and thick) feel heavy. It doesn’t have a lot of shine but I don’t use it for that. I typically ise it for two strand twists and it holds the style very well without being crunchy like a gel or greasy like a pomade. My hair also doesn’t appear frizzy. I’ve been using this product along with a leave in conditioner for about a year and my hair has been pretty healthy with minimal damage. A little goes a long way and I usually add a dime sized amount to my ends daily to freshen the style.
